bobolini is a space where the founders of Fahrenheit Studio can share our explorations into new realms.

Our studio founders are likely the last generation of artist/designers who began their journeys as analog makers, became pioneers as digital artist/designers, and are now producing art, architecture, and illustrations using a combination of digital and AI platforms.

For seasoned artists/designers, generative AI is a powerful extension of our imaginations. Working with generative design tools is a dream come true for conceptual artists.

We can now quickly visualize the improbable, the implausible, and the difficult to imagine, finding the one that resonates with our eye and taste. Our design methodology is more like building, while generative AI is more like botany.

We plant a seed, prompt the AI platform, provide references as fertilizer, and witness its rapid maturation. If we like the results, we can either refine our new concept sketch or change direction.

The artist/designer drives the evolution, akin to a botanist breeding orchids.

Generative design will not replace humans for the time being, but its power to help us imagine and visualize a brighter future may be the best antidote to dystopia.
